The SAL series illumination from DCM Sistemes provides uniform lighting. The camera views the object through the same beamsplitter through which the light passes. This makes the illumination particularly suitable for Machine Vision applications that require a diffuse light source to achieve maximum homogeneity and to avoid unwanted glares and shadows.

Thanks to the 90° positioning of the camera, the total setup height is significantly reduced, making the system ideal for compact vision configurations.

Applications: metal surfaces, film, LCD and glass, PCB patterns, surface inspection and alignment, wafer
