Camera starter sets are a practical way to take the first test steps for a vision application. The USB3 cameras are supplied complete with cables and an adapter plate, making them easy to mount on a camera tripod. This allows you to start capturing images, testing and developing applications without building an extensive mechanical setup first.

Compact 13 megapixel colour camera with integrated lens

The starter sets use compact 13 megapixel colour cameras with an integrated lens. For small objects or detailed close-up images, a macro lens is included that can be screwed directly onto the lens. This makes the cameras suitable for simple test setups, demonstrations, training and collecting initial images for AI or machine vision applications.

Start with a vision application in a practical way

A camera starter set is mainly intended as a low-threshold starting point. You can quickly assess whether an object, product or process can be captured properly and which points need attention in the next step, such as lighting, working distance, mounting or image processing. This gives you a clearer understanding of what is technically required before choosing a final inspection setup.

For demos, education and application development

The starter sets are available in two versions: one for capturing still images and one for applications using video streams. They can be used for kiosk applications, object recognition, simple presence/absence checks, AI applications and the development of new vision applications. The cameras are also available separately when a complete starter set is not required.
