SICK Ranger3 Sensor Integration with EyeVision EVHD | Interface for EyeVision Software

The EyeVision EVHD (EyeVision Virtual Hardware Device) enables integration of a SICK Ranger3 Sensor with the EyeVision machine vision software.
EVHD acts as a bridge between the SICK camera driver and the EyeVision software environment, allowing 3D profile and image data to be used for processing and analysis. Image acquisition in EyeVision is handled through the VIC (Video Input Channel), an abstraction layer for industrial vision hardware such as a SICK Ranger3 Sensor. Through this VIC interface, 3D data is standardized and delivered to the EyeVision image processing tools for measurement and inspection tasks. This enables the use of a SICK Ranger3 Sensor in machine vision applications such as 3D inspection, profiling, and industrial automation.
