Datalogic P22C 600-000 ML smart camera

The P22C 600-000 ML is an industrial color smart camera with IMPACT software. The camera runs the inspection locally, without a separate vision processor.

This version differs from the other P-Series smart cameras because it has a C-mount lens interface. This allows the P22C to be combined with standard machine vision lenses. The lens is selected based on sensor format, working distance, field of view and the image quality required for the inspection.

This makes the P22C 600-000 ML useful when a compact smart camera is needed, but the optics still have to match an existing machine or production line. The camera remains compact, while the lens choice is not fixed.

This camera does not have integrated triggered lighting. The lighting must therefore be selected and controlled externally. With moving products, exposure time, light intensity, trigger position and timing between camera and lighting must all work together.

With this smart camera, lens, external lighting, working distance, trigger position and machine communication must be considered early. Otherwise, a technically suitable camera can still create problems during integration into the production line.
