MVA Datalogic Impact Basic – Classroom Training

MVA Datalogic Impact Basic – Classroom Training

The MVA Datalogic Impact Basic is a three-day, hands-on machine vision training course for engineers and technicians who want to develop inspection applications independently using Datalogic Impact. The training is suitable for users of Datalogic P2X and P3X smart cameras and MX-E vision systems.

During the training, you will learn how to build a complete machine vision application. We start by defining the inspection task and then cover the selection of the camera, sensor, lens and lighting. Topics include Field of View, pixel resolution, working distance, optical resolution, contrast and motion blur.

You will then build inspection applications in Impact VPM and create a simple operator interface in CPM. Practical applications include presence inspection, position inspection, measurement, barcode and DMC inspection, and pass/fail inspection. Triggering, digital I/O and communication with a PLC or machine control system are also covered.

After completing the training, you will be able to independently develop, test and modify basic Datalogic Impact applications. You will understand not only how the software tools work, but also how the camera, lens, lighting, triggering and mechanical setup together determine the reliability of an industrial vision inspection.

The course is delivered as classroom training and combines technical instruction, practical examples and hands-on exercises. Course materials, training images and example programs are included.
